I've found a plant growing "wild" at an abandoned homestead and need help identifying it. The plants are about 1 year old, leaves look like Mulberry tree leaves (fat ovals with a little ruffle to some edges) & the large leaves measure 6-8 inches across and up to 12 inches long. Veins are purple. Blooms are tiny & star shaped & form a cluster. To me the clusters resemble Ixora, BUT my plant has lavender (light purple)blooms. I can't detect a fragrance from the blooms. The leaves give off a stinky smell when broken or rubbed, like a strong weedy smell. The whole plant and blooms are very pretty. Any idea what I have here??
