| It is a putka pod, the seedpod of a tropical tree native to India. When fully ripened, dried and dyed, they look exactly like mini pumpkins, which they are often called. They have no relationship to pumpkins, however. And there IS a plant ID forum.....this one is not intended for that purpose. |
