Jackson County MG Plant sale!

I would like to announce that the Jackson County Master Gardener Association will have it's Annual Plant Sale on Saturday, Sept. 25th. Lots of beautiful healthy plants, garden art and do-hickies (for the fun of it) will be offered for sale.

Sale starts at 9:00, and runs 'til we run out. Right in the heart of Edna, Texas on Hwy. 111, also known as N. Wells St.

I would like to take this opportunity to let y'all know that we SOLD EVERYTHING WE HAD AT OUR PLANT SALE! It was just fantastic! We have a beautiful morning, a great crowd, and they were spending money! I mean, we didn't have to wag anything home, there was absolutely not one pot of anything left! And we opened at 9:00 and by 12:00 noon, we were out of there!

This money is earmarked for our courthouse landscape project. We are just thrilled!

Congratulations on your successful sale! How did you advertise it? Is this a regular event? If so, how often do you have one? It might be a project we could undertake here. We've never done anything like it, just plant swaps once a year.

This is our second plant sale- We are a very young group.
We didn't have much advertising- local, flyers and such, and here on GW.

We did have wonderful plants. We had a wonderful cool day, and it was just great.
