Master Gardeners

Evening classes?

I looked into the Master Gardener classes a few years ago and they were set up in the day time when I am at work. Now I hear that they are given sometimes in the evening so I thought I would enquire again.

I sent emails to Purdue and to my county last week regarding classes and they have not emailed me an answer nor is our county linked to the Purdue website. Are there some counties that don't offer this program?

Not all counties offer MG training. Most of the classes are taught by university or county employees and are done on their working hours, during the day. Some counties will have them on Saturdays so working people may attend. Contact your local county extension service with your inquiries. Al

Call your county extension office, they should be located in your courthouse, they are the same ones that are in charge of the 4-h program here in our county. Our master gardner classes start tonight because I'm signed up for them and going. I live in Muncie. Ours are at night, they start at 6:15.
