Hello i am 15 years old and was wondering if it was possible to become a master gardener at that age. i started when i was 4 planting stuff. Now i could practically could identify mostly every plant around. MAny people around always say to me you could be like a master gardener. I talked to people at the philly flower show from the PEople places Plants magazine that were standing by and they said i could be a junior master gardener but im not sure on how to go about this. I lost my contact info that i had to what i needed to do and her name. Oh i live in PA philadelphia.I grow varios plants from annuals, perenials, bienials, trees bushes many types of fruits and veggies. I grow orchids , carnivorous plants , exotic houseplant fruits , citrus , palms, bonsai, aroids, pond plants. so i have experience with so many plants.

In Texas we do have the Junior Master Gardener organization. I'm not sure about your state, but in Texas you would contact the County Extension Agent.

You might want to check that out. Good luck!

Here is a link to an index of Cooperative Extension offices in Pennsylvania. Find your county and click on it and it should give you contact info. Give them a call and let them know you're interested. And good luck! I think it's wonderful that you're interested in this at your age.
