WANTED: Irises

I'd love to acquire some new iris varieties. Right now my selection is in its infancy, but I do have other items to trade: cuttings of hydrangea, spirea, forsythia, beach rose and a fragrant climbing rose of dubious parentage; wildflowers creeping buttercup, goldenrod, aster and fleabane; and of course good old tiger lily.

Forgot to mention I also have plenty of violas (3 colors) and violets, and a small amount of blue-eyed grass.

Since you're in Auburn, you should contact and join the Maine Iris Society. I think membership is only $5, and they do a lot of exchanges, auctions, and plant sales. Most of the meetings are in Auburn. I haven't attended because I never seem to have time to travel to Auburn for the events.

I have a lot of Siberian iris I'd be more than happy to part with. If you are going by the Saco area any time soon, let me know and you can stop by and I can dig some.

Thanks Vielchen, I will keep it in mind. I do go to the Maine Iris Society show, some of their members are old friends of mine from way back. Russ Moors is my tax guy.
