I have lots of rooted roses suckers for anyone who wants to come and dig them up. Will be happy to trade for varities that I don't have or perennials. You can see a lsit of my roses at http://faculty.umf.maine.edu/~smallj/roselist2001.html.
I live in Farmington ---email me if you are interested

What kinds of perennials are you hoping to get? Wouldn't it be fun to have a rolling plant swap, we could just go dig stuff up in each others' gardens. Maybe arrange in advance so everyone gets a fair swap.

Any kind. I'm starting to convert a former wildflower border into a perennial border as well as redoing a shade bed which was totally infested with goutweed :(. I like your idea of a plant swap---we could tour the state and come home loaded with plants!

I am having a plant and seed swap...I dont care if others would like to incorporate it into a rolling swap and put me on the tour for the saturday before valentines day and the saturday before st partricks day...

I have already posted this also here prior, but thought I would take the enthusiasm here and try to work with it more.

So thats my story and Iam sticking to it
