Freezing seeds!!

Hi guys, I really hope someone can ease my mind. I received part of my seed order today, and they sat in the mailbox ( at about 9 degrees ) for a few hours. I'm afraid that they froze! I called the county extension and they said that everything was hunky-dory but I'm still not convinced. There were some tender annuals in that order like tomatoes and some flowers.
What do you guys think? Has anyone had this happen? Give me some hope??

You didn't mention what seeds....but a lot of tender annuals will reseed themselves in our cold climate of Maine...as you probably already know. I have left tomato plants in the garden over winter and to find they reseeded from the fruit. I hope that gave you some hope..

Most seeds can be stored in the freezer with no ill effect. Don't worry.

I just read the back of a package of new nasturtium seeds and it says that the seeds won't survive freezing. Too bad I have frozen ALL my left-over seeds over the years. Some do okay but the nasties didn't do much at all.
