RE: Portland flower show 2009

I have been increasingly disenchanted with this show the past few years. The two best exhibitors (IMO) were not there this year. Allen, Sterling and Lothrop stopped participating last year, I believe. I understand it's due to health issues, and I was very sorry to hear that. She is so imaginative. This year, Gnome was nowhere to be seen either. Two of the displays there were shockingly poorly designed with flowers just stuck in like soldiers in a row. Estabrook's was one of the best exhibits with two clever color combinations.
I won't bother going again unless something changes drastically! Boston, please come back!!!
