| I was once told that the last snow in March helps the poppies with scarification, to breakdown its outershell so the seed can better germinate.
I plan on broadcasting a bunch near my inlaws new additon, where last fall the ground was moved around abit and the yard is still mostly just exposed soil. Its like a feild in their back yard and they usually allow it to grow to seed, looks nice sometimes to see tall grasses in a distance. |

What kind of poppies.... I never heard that before! I just throw mine out and around as soon as weather permits, and have always had good luck! Stay safe all! Sky |

| Any kind of poppies (either annuals or perennials)! ( I am outside New York State on a road trip to Missouri) They have alot of snow still here, but the buds on the trees are really starting to show and some of the grass that is showing is turning a little green. |
