Problem with daylilies and irises

| A friend in Unity just emailed me to ask about yellow "matter" on the root area of her daylilies and irises. I am not sure what "yellow matter" means, but has anyone else had this problem? As far as I am aware, none of my irises or daylilies have this problem. In the past I have had iris borers, but never anything on the daylilies. Thanks for your help. Joan |
