Moles - Yikes!

For the first time, moles have discovered our yard (demise of our very able hunting cat may be a factor...) Does anyone have anti-mole ideas that are tried and true? Lots of apparent mis- and dis- information out there...

RE: Moles - Yikes!

Just happen to be discussing what kind of creature has holes in and among my squash plants with a work colleague . Pete, who has some good agricultural ancestry said if they were moles the fix was to install a whirligig. I guess it's a small windmill that transmits vibrations. When the wind powers the clattering pile of junk it sends down vibrations into the ground in which they live. He said they'll move away. sound like a "green" fix to me. My problems are bigger than moles. Anybody got Rain?
