Mortgage Lifter Tomato - Where to Buy?

Posted by fred_in_maine Southern Maine (My Page) on

I have read that Mortgage Lifter is a remarkably productive tomato plant. I can buy Mortgage Lifter seeds on-line but I've never had much success starting any tomato plant from seed. Does anyone know where I might find Mortgage Lifter already started at a garden store in southern Maine?

Just saw flats of that particular tomato at Agway in Arundel, now it is Green Mountain Transplants, on Route 111 (670 Alfred Road) just beyond Home Depot in Biddeford. Great bargains: you can buy a plant from their 72-cell flat for 50 cents! Their phone # is 282-6444

Thanks for the tip. I'll be checking out Green Mountain Transplants. Fred
