Planting Sweet Peas

| My husband just put up a beautiful white lattice fence next to our patio. I am already envisioning sweet peas growing all over it, but am not sure when to plant the seeds. Any suggestions as to planting time or sweet pea culture in general will be appreciated. Any favorite varieties? |

| sweet peas are some of the earliest seeds you can plant. "as soon as the ground can be worked" which was a while ago. |
