Cascading Container Plants- Full Sun

| I have several large containers placed at the edges of granite steps. I am looking for plants that will cascade and trail over the edges. Any suggestions, other than wave petunias? I'm not fussy about the colors, although fragrance would be a plus. |

| Torenia, callibrachoa, lantana, sweet potato vine, for example. Non-stop color on these. |

| Mainerose, There are trailing varieties of nasturtiums. Lobelia have cascading plants, although I have never grown them. Just out of curiosity, why do you not like petunias? MM |

| Actually, Maineman, I DO like petunias and use a lot of them. Just looking for something different for a change. Thanks for the nasturtiums suggestion. I really like mastershalums (as Pooh would say)! |

| I have had good luck with both the purple sweet potato and licorice plant in full sun. The licorice plant was doing well past frost last fall. |

| Nasurtiums are wonderful and you may know that they spread easily and are good ground cover. I like to keep them in containers for that reason. If you overwater they won't bloom very much, so you will want to dry them out before watering. Or hopefully it's not too rainy. |
