rattail radish harvesting

Hi,
I'm new at this so don't laugh. My Rat tail radish is flowering. Should I already have harvested it? When do you know snip the leaves to eat? And when do you eat the pods?
As for regular radishes when do you harvest them? And do you do successive plantings throughout the summer?
