| OKAY, WE PLANTED THE MAGNOLIA TREE LAST YEAR IN EAYLY JUNE. IT WAS FINE ALL WINTER AND IT FLOWERED BUT NO LEAVES AND IT IS NOW JUNE THE NINETH IT IS PLANTED IN GRAVELY SOIL BECAUSE IT IS CLOSE TO THE FOUNDATION ( NO WORRIES OUR FOUNDATION IS THREE FEET THICK AND MAGNOLIA ROOTS AREN'T INVASIVE. ANY IDEAS I WANT TO MOVE IT INTO REGULAR SOIL. GEE I HOPE THAT IT DOES WELL. PLEASE HELP!!!! |

| It shouldn't be planted in "gravely" soil and it shouldn't be very close to the house. If you want it near your foundation, it should be 3-4' away. Move it now, with all this rain we've had and are still expecting, it should do well. |
