| I may be applying for a job in Bangor and was wondering what the zone is there. Th USDA map is so small I can't figure it out. Zone5a-4b?

| That looks right on the map. Two and three winters ago the weather was very mild with little snow and warm temps. Last winter was long and snowy. |

| Hi Bonnie: I have always been in Bangor Maine. I expect the zone is 5, getting a bit warmer here but still, we might get snow and frosts from Sept to may. Lean towards safety for your plantings start inside plant outside only when it is very safe, memorial day usually. Good luck and look me up raine1200 on yahoo. |
