How I love this time of year, I just picked the first of MANY cukes yesterday. Have been harvesting radishes, beets, lettuce and swiss chard for several weeks now. Tons of green tomatoes waiting to ripen, the pole beans have climbed up and over the trellis, and the hubbard squash is slowly swallowing up the garden as is its way. What a pleasant change from the dreary summer last year. How are all of your Maine vegetable gardens doing this year?
