spring bulb dilemma

I've been amending the soil in front of my house for new perennial beds. I dug up many tulip and daffodil bulbs planted by previous owners. Is it OK to replant them now, or should I wait until fall?

RE: spring bulb dilemma

Is the foliage completely gone? If they still have some green leaves, I'd pop them back in the ground right now so they can continue to store nutrients for next spring. If all the foliage is brown or gone completely, you can wait until fall to plant them. Just store them in a dark, airy place so they don't sprout!
