RE: Rose sale

I bet they do Mike and I must go in a couple of weeks time to see if their other trees are on special. There were a lot of Hollies and evergreens.I would be interested in them too as we have just moved to this house a couple of years ago. It's quite bare still.Regards Josie_2

RE: Rose sale

It'd be iffy planting roses this time of year and getting them to over-winter. I'd water a lot and use a lot of mulch. IMO, I wouldn't attempt it, unless the rose was free, or a very desirable hard-to-find one, because if I have to take the bother to amend the soil, water, winter-protect, then dig up the dead bush in the spring and dispose of it, it's not worth the 66% off.

A lot of evergreens and shrubs can be planted now, though.
