A surprise garden-themed night!

| My Eastern Star Chapter did an honor night for 2 of us who had received special appointments. They knew we liked gardening so they surprised us with a gardening theme. They gave us each a big woven basket and marched us around the room, stopping at all the stations where each person would read a garden verse or quotation and put a gift in out basket. We ended up with hundreds of bulbs, gloves, and small tools. My mother was about in tears with joy because next week she is moving from her big house with manicured landscape to a tiny prefab with no yard yet. She has claimed all the bulbs and I even get to plant them for her. Ain't she sweet? Actually I am happy to do it, she will really enjoy it next spring. |

| Oh it is, I recommend Eastern Star for anyone who would like a positive sorority/fraternity experience and also be able to do charity work. |
