Hard-to-find conifers

Posted by taxonomist 7b VA (My Page) on

Does anyone know where I might find a small specimen of either Thujopsis dolobrata (Don't believe it has a common name) or a Fokenia? These are reputed to be hardy in zone 7 and are extremely attractive large shrubs.
Any leads will be much appreciated

Triple Oaks Nursery has them on their website. I've never ordered from them. They are listed on www.gardenwatchdog.com site with an 86% approval rating.

Here is a link that might be useful: Thujopsis dolobrata

I have green and variegated Thujopsis dolobrata. Let me know if you want me to propagate them. I have Fokienia, but it is not really hardy here.
