Ok, so I don't really know what I have to trade yet, but as I mentioned, I'm pretty excited. Already. I just thought I'd put the thread here so share my excitement!

Maybe I need to ask here for a life!?

I'm reluctantly giving up on my dwarf pampas grass and will have probably 3 or 4 pieces to give away this fall. We seem to be at the northern edge of the hardiness range, and I'm tired of having most of the huge clump die back every few years when we get a harsh winter. If you have a warm microclimate (I had put it in the hottest, sunniest spot I have) then it might work for you.

Here's a photo of what it looked like at its peak when we had several warm winters in a row, but it's never been the same since.

I'm starting my inventory and will post as I go. That way I won't forget what the heck I have!

I have a crape myrtle that is supposed to be a 'Dallas Red' but it's a medium, clear, (guess...) PINK. I'm fairly certain it's a mislabel, which bums me out. It will be about 1' tall by trade time, and if it were a Dallas Red, would become 25' or so. However, since it just cannot BE a Dallas Red, I have no idea what it will become. All I know is this puppy is hardy!

I will also have a very small, maybe 6'' to 1' tall Catawba. Mine turned out to be lilac colored vs. the advertized dark purple, so this will be a lighter color. Ask BayGuy if he likes it, though, since he adopted one of mine. This plant is an off-shoot of the remaining roots.

Don't forget, guys. eMail me privately if you're interested.

Didn't someone mention that they wanted small jars? I have some, but they are jelly and babyfood jars. Will they do?

    Ok,
to continue and amend my list...

    I have:
a pink, should-be Dallas Red Crape Myrtle. Gorgeous blooms on about a 1.5' plant. Looks like it'll be a prolific bloomer.
1 Tuscarora crape myrtle, probably 5' tall. This is a watermelon pink that looks a bit dusty. It's pretty.
1 low shrub, probably 2' tall with a TON of blossoms on it. It's generically called a "rubra" crape myrtle, but it just happens to be an exact match for my 'Tonto.'

I've put a couple more under the Haves list, because someone will need to come get them. These I can dig myself.
