| This is in N.J., but easily doable as a day trip from the D.C. area if you leave about 6 AM. Large garden includes about 25 varieties of crape myrtles, Camellias, palms, woodies, perennials, many mature trees, etc.
Plan on arriving 9 to 10 AM to walk through the garden, potluck at noon, and plant swap at 1 PM. Interest permitting, there will be a side trip to see nearby public plantings of palms as well as other woodies & perennials. Please bring the following: a few or several plants or garden-related items, a food item(non-perishable is fine), a chair if you have one. Unload in driveway and park on Sedgwick Lane. Email me for address. Please post haves & wants here. Very energetic individuals could also include a visit to Triple Oaks Nursery on their own. |
