2009 Fall MAG Swap: Plants you Want List

Sunday, September 27, at 10 am (ish) at Black Hill Regional Park in Boyds, Maryland

DIRECTIONS for the WANTED list:

If you're new to the swaps, please take the time and have the courtesy to read these posts. They're here to help everyone have a good time.

Yes, you can come if you don't have any plants.

1. Post a list of the plants you want, ideally with Latin names to avoid confusion and cultivar names if they have them, and you know what they are.

2. Read other people's lists. If you see things you want and would like to swap or trade for, e-mail the person to arrange it.

3. Do NOT arrange the swap or trade on this thread.

4. Do NOT post a list of plants that you HAVE for swapping or trading on this list. There is a separate HAVE thread for this purpose.

5. Do NOT discuss who will be bringing what kind of Bavarian apple tart or other food to the swap. There is a separate HAVE thread for food.

6. Do update your member page with your Haves and Wants.

7. Much more info on the Haves list thread.

Wishing everyone a great swap! Happy gardening!

    Hollyhock seeds (specific colors/types)
    Inca sun brugmansia
    Angel's Summer Dream brugmansia

    Pussytoes (Antennaria)
    Geum triflorum (Prairie Smoke)
Phlox (tall, not pink or white--have those)

Anything perennial and purple (love daylilies and irises)
Anything that blooms now other than sedum and obedient plant (have lots of those)

The swap will be on Sunday, September 27, starting at 10:00 am (or so) at the south end of parking lot #3 (associated with shelters D, E, and F) at Black Hill Regional Park near Germantown, Maryland. Bathrooms are across the street at the visitors' center. There is an extremely nice playground nearby (not in sight of the parking lot), and there is an off-leash dog park a little further away. There should be at least some shade in the parking lot, and there are picnic tables and a grill, up a trail, that will definitely be shady.

Alfie, thank you for reminding us that the swap is on SUNDAY. I was all set to show up on Saturday. Actually, this works out better for me.

    Wanted - ajuga.

Yes, I know...boring, but its like having potatoes on the plate, you've got to have the boring groundcovers to set off the flowers.

Wanted... sunshine and a closer drive to the swap.
I've got a 1 and 1/2 hour drive from B'more and it's already 9:30 and still raining... so I think I will forego the wet drive and uncertain weather today.
Jett ...Chrismd and Pat.....I will keep your few plants for you until the spring swap.
Have a good swap everyone...see you in the spring.
    Bonnie
