Would enjoy advice from the experts here. I live in central Maryland. My soil is excellent and everything grows well. I planted Honey Select last year and was underwhelmed. The ears were well formed but not real sweet.

I am looking for a cold resistant early type and then a later season variety. I like my corn sweet and with fairly large kernels.

I have looked at all the major catalogs and liked Johnny's information the best. They tell you which varieties can be sown early due to better cold tolerance for germination. Unfortunately, I haven't heard of most of their varieties.

Any suggestions? Thanks.
