RE: looking for green hardy flowers

Stinking hellebore (Hellebore foetidus) is perfect. Evergreen, deer-proof, grows in dry shade, and flowers in the winter. We have a bunch of them that have been flowering since December. 'Green Giant' is huge; one plant has 11 stalks on it.
