Hi All,

I am always looking for good garden magazines with useful info for people who don't have $50,000 to spend on landscaping their backyard.I subscribe to few ..Garden Gate ,garden how-to and a few others and they are great for info and I just drool when I see their photos I am on the Eastern Shore and have been gardening forever.I have a new house with a clean slate for a backyard and need some new ideas for it. Are there any "Eastern Shore Gardener" mags out there(haha).... so what is your favorite magazine?

I LOVE Washington Gardener Magazine - see www.WashingtonGardener.com - they are the local gardening amg and they do not focus on high-end unachievable stuff. They have done Bayscaping and stories on the shore - basically the cover the MidAtlantic area. They are pretty hyper-local.

I also read the ones you list and also like American Gardener from the AHS

Is there some sort of arboretum near you? At brookside they have an actual library swimming in magazines, books, etc.
