I'm new here! What's MAGTAG?

MAGTAG is an acronym for Mid-Atlantic Gardeners' Tomato Appreciation Gathering. It's our local Tomato Festival where people from the Mid-Atlantic area bring and show off their tomato harvests. We have a tasting of different varieties (mostly heirlooms), a BLT bar, grilled items, beer & wine, and dessert. We also have a potluck where people bring in dishes that use tomatoes in the recipes, and a seed swap.

For the past two years, we've held the event at a park just outside of Baltimore with great access to all the major local arteries (I-95, I-295, Route 1, I-695, etc.) Detailed info on how to get there is listed in the link below - nothing has changed since last year.

Well, it's official - today was payday so I mailed a check to Baltimore County for use of the park on August 16 from 10-6 (more or less). Same pavilion as last year. Let's hope it's not 100 degrees out this time!
