| Baltimore Herb Festival in Leakin Park. Saturday, May 29th this year. It's not just Herbs. Lots of perennial,annual and everything else vendors. Cylburn digs their spring bulbs and sells them inexpensively for fall planting. |

| The Silver Spring Garden Club is having their annual plant sale on May 8th. at Brookside Gardens, Wheaton. Sorry but I'm new and don't have the time of this event but will find out and post later. |

| The spring plant sale at Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden in Richmond is worth a special trip. It will be from April 29 through May 1 this year. Oh, the garden is nice, too ;-) |

| Black Hill Regional Park in Germantown, MD is having a native plant sale. 4/30 Fri. 5:00pm- 7:00pm "Shop for nursery-propagated native wildflowers for your yard and garden, many of which are nectar and host plants for butterflies. The sale is offered by the Friends of Black Hill Nature Programs, and all proceeds will be donated to Black Hill Nature programs. Look for it across from Black Hill park office, behind the old maintenance yard. " |

| Sotterly Garden Fair Sotterly Plantation St. Mary's County April 17 & 18, 2010 10:00 am ~ 4:00 pm Presentations on everything from Orchid Growing to Oyster Ranching by UMD Professors, Environmental Experts, and Master Gardeners in the historic Barn. Pick up a mallet and play croquet on the Croquet Lawn. Shop the booths for plants and hand-crafted wares by local Artisans. Fly a kite down on the field. Check out the Going Green! and eco-friendly exhibits. Take a tour through the magnificent Colonial Revival Gardens. Children are welcome to craft birdhouses, birdfeeders, and paper flowers. Enjoy lunch in the garden. Pick up some lovely additions for your garden at the Sotterley Garden Guild plant sale. Admission is $7 for one day; $10 for a two day pass (Sotterley Members free the second day); Children under 12 FREE. |

| avoirgold already mentioned our sale (thanks!) but here is a little more detail. The Roland Park Civic League native plant sale is May 15th, in Baltmore. We will offer a selection of perennials, ferns, grasses, shrubs, and trees native to the Chesapeake Bay Watershed, perfect for planting in Roland Park landscapes. | May 8th is also the Beltsville Garden Club plant sale #2, High Point High School, Beltsville MD (just N of the DC Beltway off 95). Starts at 8:00; get there early as the best stuff sells in the first 10 minutes! I usually go there, then head off to Annapolis for the Paca house sale. May 15th -- Green Springs Farm Park plant sale, off Gallows Rd at Little River Turnpike, Arlington VA. A wide range of wonderful vendors, including Friends of Green Springs (FROGS), North American Rock Garden Society (NARGS), and more. Another one to get to early. May 22 -- American Iris Society show, Meadowlark Gardens, Vienna VA. |

| Irvine Science Ctr has their annual plant sale Saturday, August 27, its free and open to the public. This has got to be the best plant sale around, you buy direct from the grower. Several vendors will be there under a big tent. You can talk to the grower and ask questions. Located in the Caves Valley area of Baltimore County. |
