I've been wondering the same thing. I can't remember having so many snowfalls yet none of them have amounted to much of anything here.
This morning I did penance for my sloth by planting bareroot roses in the rain that I should have planted on Sunday when the weather was nice. I went shopping instead. But the forecast is calling for freezing every night so I couldn't let them keep soaking in the ice bath. They came from Cananda so they should be used to this. I, on the other hand, am not.

we are way below normal for low temps, its about time we had some warm weahter thats for sure! and some sun!!

This is just payback for that run of 60 degree weather we got back in December and January . . . . .

Yep, it sure is frustrating to watch the weather run the gamut from blizzard to balmy and back again! But I keep reminding myself that last winter we didn't get ANY really balmy days to break things up and so winter seemed to last forrrreeeevvvver.

I planted about 500 bulbs last fall---some in pots, some in the ground---and those have helped me get through the ups and downs of the last few weeks. My early daffs, crocus and iris have been blooming for at least two weeks, and the mid- and late-season ones are starting to poke their heads above ground.........Hang in there, it can't be toooo much longer!
