| Richard and I went to Annapolis yesterday to bring home a load of cattle panels to make arches. We found we needed to make a wooden platform for the top of the truck to bring them home safely, so we went to Home Despot to get materials. And of course I checked out the garden section. Much to my surprise, they had four lovely Yellow Bird magnolias for about a hundred bucks each -- I thought this was pretty good for one of the better yellow magnolias available. It's also one of the biggest, though -- better have room for a 40-foot tree if you bring home one of these!
