Full StoryHello everyone,
I bought this shrub last year and am not sure how to prune it. I have heard that I should cut it back pretty far but I am just wondering how far? I cut off all of the thicker stems and just left the redder, smaller ones. It is now about 3' high. I am worried about the winter shape of it if I "shear" it off a foot from the ground like someone told me to, it seems like it will end up being a mess of twigs in a few years. What have you done to yours?
Thanks so much!
