AHS - Friends of River Farm Plant Sale

Advice/Experience needed:
My sister is in town this weekend and we plan to attend. Which is the better day to go? Friday--better selection but bigger crowds? Or Saturday? And is this sale child-friendly?

Thanks!

It's open on Thursday as well if you're a member. Actually, I'd expect Saturday to be busier than Friday. Child friendly? It's a plant sale, so not sure I understand the question, but you might have more fun if you left the kids at home. On the other hand, kids could carry things for you :)

I'll be working at the master gardener booth from noon to 3 on Saturday so stop by and say hello if you get a chance.

You folks scared me; I thought you were saying that the AHS sale is this weekend! I checked the AHS website to verify that it is indeed April 17/18/19 as I had thought. The member's preview is the evening of the 17th.

I can't wait 'til Friday-this is my favorite sale of the year-great vendors, close to home, the perfect time to buy plants.
After attending for 2 years now, I can look around my yard & see plants I've gotten there-the star is an 'aesculus pavia' that is a stunner...
