I've decided to set up a plant swap in the Northern VA area. I 'm going to try to come to the plant swap in Burtonsville MD, but it's far from me and I think Northern VA really needs a swap of it's own. A location hasn't been picked yet and I'll let the members vote on that.

This group is going to focus around meeting for a plant swap once or twice a year. We'll have food too, so it'll be like a party!

Date: For 2007 we will meet on Saturday May 12th at Noon.

Location: to be determined based on group consensus. However definately in Northern VA and probably in the area of Fairfax County.

What to bring: (1)Plants, and (2) each person should bring an item of food or dessert(we'll assign items ahead of time).

Trades may be set up in advance.

All are welcome, even if you are new to gardening and don't have plants! Just bring food and you can pick up a few plants. People always bring extras to give away.

Bring: Flowering plants, vegetable plants, Tomato plants, Fruit plants, decorative plants, landscaping plants, bulbs, herbs, etc.
