We have several Nandina's growing and a lot of their leaves are brown on the tips. Any ideas what the problem is and how to fix it? Thank you!

I think it may be due to our severe winter. Nandinas are borderline hardy in this area. Mine have lost lots of leaves, but I know that in a couple of months they'll look good again. I think yours will too.

There are small nandinas growing all over the area. Lots of them in downtown Vienna VA. They all look terrible. Barely any leaves on them. My big ones look fine except for needing some pruning.

Thank you for your responses. I guess I shouldn't do anything to them and just let nature take its course. I'm glad to know that I'm not the only one with sickly looking Nandinas!
