Looking for 15 Evergreen screen plants

IÂm a homeowner interested in any advice for a creating a 12-15Â evergreen screen for our back yard that is deer resistant. Ideally, IÂm looking for plants that would be narrow. The area gets some mid-afternoon sun and light shade the other times of the day. It drains ok as well. We live in Montgomery County, MD, which is a Washington, DC suburb.

IÂve done some web research and Spartan Junipers seem to be a possibility but IÂm not familiar with them. We probably would have gone with Arborvitae but the deer would destroy them. We also like a green leaf like the laurels have but those varieties seem to spread too much.

If anyone has advice on what else we should look into, please let me know.

Thanks.
