The "1st Annual Backyard Gardener's Plant Swap & Sale" at Ticonderoga Farms was a great success, even in the rain! The swappers were very generous and gardeners went home with a wide variety of healthy and many unusual plants -- everything from trees to small seedlings. Door prizes were quite popular, as expected, especially due to the variety and large number given away. I thought vendors' plant sale selections -- and prices -- were truly amazing. New gardeners especially went home with loads of plants, along with gardening books, magazines, and lots of excellent advice.

Congratulations, and many thanks to our many volunteers, the vendors, swappers, and a special thank you to our host, Ticonderoga Farms, which provided a perfect swap/sale setting -- complete with log cabins for the kids to play in!
