| Could I get your suggestions for flowering plants (preferably cascading or trailing) that remain robust during the heat of the summer? I've had verbenas, lantanas, and others sort of give up on me - they linger near death without actually dying. This is a particular challenge with hanging baskets. I use copper containers lined with some coir, and have tried inserting plastic pots into this and potting directly in the coir, and there's not much difference in the result.
Would perennials be any more durable? Any you've had success with? thanks, MsB |
