I posted this on Shrubs, and someone said it might be fireblight, for lack of further info. I've reposted with a photo, and hoping they'll reply again.

Anyone else around here having this problem? The flowers -- some, not all -- are turning brown. The cultivar is Mohave, which is supposed to be disease-resistant.
