Missed the plant swap :-(

I'm new to the message board and, much to my chagrin, I missed the plant swap that was held in Burtonsville a few weekends ago. I was wondering if anyone has extra plants that are looking for a good home. I'm turning my townhouse front yard into a garden for birds and butterflies, so I'm looking for plants that will attract them, and would like to add other perennials as well. The front yard is under a fruit tree, so the area gets direct sunlight in the early morning and dappled sun the rest of the day. Full sun plants have not done well there in the past.

I want to get started this weekend (Memorial Day, I know its kind of late already), and I can travel to your location anytime over the weekend (I'm in Columbia).

I don't have any plants to swap, but I do have homemade peach jam that I canned last year!

Don't dispair about missing the Spring plant swap. We have another in the fall, although date and place haven't been set yet.

Hey, 'dawg - Where do you live in Columbia? My dad lives in Running Brook (near Centennial Park) and we're having a cookout at his place on Sunday. I have some daylilies and bearded iris that I could drop off with you that day, if you're interested. They're not exactly bird & butterfly magnets, but they're pretty. They should do OK is part sun.

Howndawg, I live at the other end of 197 from you. (Take 198 to 197, south and on to my house.) I'm planning a leetle give-away I just posted. I have a lot of sun things, and many that are part. You're welcome to dig.
