Hello,

Im a newbie and I moved my snow peas and dahlias onto a high deck to keep the deer from snacking on them. Now I have these little critters to deal with. They seem to be eating the leaves and working their way to buds and flowers. They are amazing leap-ers.

Could you please help me identify this insect? Is there a natural way I can get rid of them (for good?)?

I wasnt sure if this was an insect native to our neck of the woods and thats why I posted here rather than on the pest forum.
