raised beds of recycled "trex"

I am recycling my composite deck material by having my construction guys make raised beds. The beds they made for me are FABULOUS, so I thought I would offer them to others and help keep the material out of the landfill. I have an ad on craigslist too.

Raised beds are custom made to order with exterior coated deck screws. Sides are one inch SOLID composite, not hollow like composite beds sold online.

Here are some sample prices. There is a limited supply of materials, so don't wait to order~.

2 foot x 4 foot x 6 inches = $60

2 foot x 8 foot x 6 inches = $100 (with cross brace)

2 foot x 4 foot x 12 inches = $100

2 foot x 4 foot x 18 inches = $120

My construction guys are an extended family of hardworking men who I have known for 20+ years. They are building these beds to earn some extra cash and keep the material out of the land fill.

RE: raised beds of recycled "trex"

I'm just now having a new deck built with good new solid 1' composite material AND demolishing and rebuilding my 24 year old pressure-treated framed beds. I may go with more of the newer stronger composite boards for the new framed beds too. I would like them both to outlast me. Just so I don't have to do this again.
