Transplanting Evelyn rose bush...

I have an David Austin Evelyn rose bush that is doing very well, but clearly my choice of locations was wrong. It's in the back of the boarder instead of either middle or front. Is it safe to move it now? If now when would you suggest.

RE: Transplanting Evelyn rose bush...

Late winter is usually the best time to move roses, before they leaf out. That's what they recommended at The Rosarie at Bayfields.
