I'm taking some of y'all with me. I must be crazy, but I just placed an order for a bunch of Iris. 50% off at http://www.landfairgardens.com/. Couldn't find any reviews on Garden Watchdog, but they are verified by PayPal, and at those prices, what the ???

Since these suckers multiply like mad and I'll be sharing the bounty later on, get something different so we can all have a splendiferous and many colored Iris garden. Here is what I have coming. Hopefully.

I'm hoping your Cinnamon girl is really brown-y cinnamon. Because I'll need some. :)

I wouldn't go out of my way to buy iris, but I'll be darned if I just didn't pick some up on ebay!

I put some irises in last fall and they were spectacular this spring. And then I had my first experience with bacterial soft rot. Do not fail to rinse the rhizomes in bleach before you plant. It probably won't be a 100% guarantee against rot, but it might make it less likely. I think I have managed to save the two affected plants, but I don't know whether they'll bloom next year.
