viburnum berries

shadberry

I have a viburnum that is about 5' tall and 3-5 years old. It was covered with flowers (stinky ones, I might add)and I watched the bumble bees crawl all over it. Now there are practically no berries on the bush. Is it maybe the bush isn't old enough. Are the bumble bees inefficient pollinators? Any ideas? Also the berries on it are small and green so I don't think the birds aould be interested yet.
