Local butterfly and pollinator species numbers down?

Hey,

I'm wondering if any of the rest of you are seeing far fewer numbers of insects this year. I have such a wide variety of flowering plants that it seems abnormal not to attract something. Last year the plants were alive with the sheer numbers of bees, flies, butterflies etc. This year I'm seeing some honeybees and bumblebees but not in last years numbers. I've seen only a handful of butterflies. Even the cabbage butterflies are few in number.

Anyone else noted the same? (My garden is in Adams Cty, PA north of Gettysburg)
