Update on me

A bit OT but, y'all know me here. As some of you know, I had to have my gallbladder removed.

I had it done on July 3 and I'm recovering at home. I cannot drive or work until I see my doctor for my post-op checkup. Thankfully the heavy gardening chores are done and all I have to do is pick the ripe raspberries and watch the tomatoes ripen.

Anyway, the surgery went fine and luckily I haven't needed to fill the pain meds scrip. I'm going to spend the rest of the summer recovering from this, and with great good luck will be rested and refreshed in time for the Fall season/swap!

If any of you want chocolate mint or sensitive fern, and are in the Wheaton area, let me know. Otherwise I will oversummer what I've got and bring the survivors to the swap.

Hi Dawn, we met at this year's swap and our conversation was limited to plants, but I just wanted to wish you well and remind you that when you get that inevitable temptation to go out and plow the north forty, you are smart enough to resist it. That's what friends and family are for!
