| I need to remove a miniature birch I planted more than 3 years ago (Fox Valley "Little King" betula nigra). It has outgrown its space and doesn't like my alkaline soil. It is healthy and right now looks pretty amazing because of all the rain. Pictures available!
It is currently around 6.5-7 feet high and about 8 feet across. It will need to be seriously cut back to be moved. Note that this "miniature" tree is not really that miniature. It's big for a short tree. The optimal space for this tree is in full sun with damp, slightly acidic soil with plenty of room to spread out. I live in NE Baltimore City in a yard that can't be accessed by machinery. I can provide manpower to help get the tree out. My yard abuts an alley for easy access. Responses will be e-mailed to me but you can also e-mail me at echalm0@yahoo.com. Would like to remove the tree ASAP. Many thanks. |

| Hi! Just wanted to let you know I"m interested, but given a work schedule, couldn't get up there until later in the fall. It's better when it's dormant, anyway. What were your plans/schedule to remove it? |
